Seven decades of forest stewardship.
The Forestry Commission (FC) is a parastatal under the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife, established in 1954 through the Forest Act. The commission is entrusted with the sustainable management of Zimbabwe’s forest resources protecting biodiversity, promoting climate resilience and supporting both commercial and community forestry.
