Mr Manyumwa is a seasoned business leader and respected consultant in carbon credits, bringing strategic foresight, executive acumen, and a results-driven approach to the sustainable management and commercial optimisation of natural resources.
He has a distinguished track record in advancing biodiversity protection, strengthening sustainable conservation frameworks, and championing community-led natural resource management initiatives that balance environmental stewardship with socio-economic development.
As Director-General, he is firmly committed to steering the Forestry Commission towards the full realisation of its mandate, with a strong emphasis on sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation, and the advancement of research, innovation, and institutional excellence.
